Business Development Coordinator

 

MISSIONS :

Reporting to the Business Development Manager:

Market Intelligence:

  • Organize, plan and manage business development activities within the country;
  • Execute business development and strategy according to the market conditions and opportunities in the country;
  • Identify target accounts and pipeline;
  • Manage customer relationships and related tools;
  • Produce inputs for regional strategy
  • Identify and establish competitive market landscape.   

Bid Management:

  • Identify client needs, propose the relevant solutions and follow the project strategic place in place;
  • Collaborate with the Operations and all the Transversale functions to structure and to build the commercial/P&L;
  • Coordinate the steps of the bid process involving all relevant stakeholders and decision makers;
  • Coordinate the bid response and produce the client documents and collateral;
  • Negotiate, develop and foster all the global defined opportunities and bid process;
  • Coach, lead and share best practices with the Africa Business Development teams.

 

Sales:

  • Prepare, meet and follow-up on meetings with decision makers in client‘s organizations;
  • Ensure growth of Sodexo’s Web of Influence;
  • Transform opportunities in business wins and successfully hand over new contracts to operations.

 

PROFIL RECHERCHE:

  • Bachelor degree in business development;
  • 3 to 4 years Business Development experience with a range of large and complex clients, possibly within Corporate, Energy markets or International Large Accounts in the service industry;
  • Demonstrated understanding of the bid management life cycles;
  • Proven track record of delivering Business Development, growth and client retention;
  • Fluency in English and in French;
  • Very good Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word);
  • Excellent project management skills;
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and leadership skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially with a remote team.
  • Strong and proven multi-cultural skills.
